The administration and staff at Pocomoke Middle School continually work to maintain a school environment that is safe, positive, and orderly. The teacher's are responsible for establishing and maintaining a classroom environment with a climate conducive to effective learning for your child. Behavioral expectations are clearly communicated to students and teachers spend time teaching and modeling desired behavior as they consistently and frequently reinforce positive behavior.
Pocomoke Middle School has adopted "Positive Behavior Intervention and Support" (PBIS) as it's philosophy/system of creating a positive school climate and managing student behavior.
